Faithful, Hopeful, and Bold: Encouragement for the Church

As a district president in The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod, Rev. Lee Hagan has heard firsthand the many struggles of churches. Pastors and church leaders are frequently discouraged as they consider their congregations' futures in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. Congregational attendance numbers are down in small and large congregations alike. Many small congregations are no longer able to support a full-time pastor. Leaders are looking for encouragement and hope.

Drawing from God's Word, Faithful, Hopeful, and Bold will provide encouragement to those who serve during these challenging times. It reminds church leaders of the gifts and blessings that God has bestowed upon His church, and that true hope is not in strategic plans and creative solutions but in Christ and His Word.

Written for pastors, church leaders, and engaged volunteers, the book offers discussion questions at the end of each chapter to encourage discussion among church leaders and congregrations.
