This booklet was written with the object of encouraging confidence in the future which seems too often to be uncertain in many areas of the world, where stability appears to be only fleeting. Today there are so many wars which, although usually localised, still entail the mobilisation of tens of thousands of troops (official and unofficial) armed with a vast range of basic and sophisticated weapons. All of these cause many deaths and terrible injuries to combatants and civilians alike. Additionally there are natural disasters of various kinds. This dissertation includes some discussion of the currently popular theory of evolution, which the author regards as being totally devoid of any hope at all. In total contrast, the text also examines God’s plan for all of us, a plan of hope. This plan involves the three stages of our existence:-

Our life before this one,

Our life right now,

our life to come. This knowledge gives us confidence while we are here in our present situation, and importantly, when we move on afterwards. Parts of the material presented in this discourse may well be unfamiliar to some readers.
