A History of the World in 100 Objects by the British Museum and the BBC is a project which has fired the public imagination throughout the land. A History of Stirling in 100 Objects is the first published tribute act, demonstrating that the local, the national and the international are always present, wherever the place, and that the World is where we live. Compiled by Elspeth King and with photography by Michael McGinnes, collections curator, this book features 100 objects - all from the collections of the Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum - that each show a different aspect of Stirling’s history.
