Scarborough in the Twentieth Century

Located on the coast just eight miles south of Portland, Scarborough was fertile territory for the dramatic changes that swept over eastern Maine in the twentieth century. This history transports the reader from Scarborough’s simpler days as a small coastal community to its current status as the fastest growing town in the state.
