Mothman

This book describes the creature dubbed Mothman by the press. Beginning in Virginia in the early 1960s, witnesses reported sighting a flying creature about seven feet tall with a wingspan of more than ten feet, glowing red eyes and scaly skin. It made a screeching sound, caused radio interference, and seemed to have some sort of mind control power. As reports continued, more powers were attributed to the creature and the legend grew.
