People with Disabilities

This volume provides an overview the rights of people with disabilities in the United States, a chronology of important events, an annotated bibliography, and other resources for conducting further research. The author illuminates this often-neglected human side of these problems by presenting a collection of personal narratives of people who have had personal experience with physical and mental disabilities as participants, witnesses, or involved professionals.
