Writing Matters 2

Writing Matters provides a carefully structured series of activities that promote correct formation, legibility and speed in writing NSW Foundation Style. In this series, handwriting becomes meaningful and engaging through activities based on children’s literature, values education and COGs topics.

Focus of Writing Matters 2:

Revision of upper- and lower-case letter formation and height
Numeral formation and number words
English focus: children’s literature, recounts and procedures, punctuation and grammar
Values focus: Freedom; Honesty and trustworthiness; Integrity
COGs focus: Growing and changing, Products and services
Computer skills: further use of specific keys
