With a combination of hard work, chutzpah and a little luck, an ambitious young New Zealander by the name of Harry Maurice Miller was, for over four decades, one of the Australian media and entertainment industry’s most influential men.

He brought us Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar, worked with Sammy Davis Jr, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, the Rolling Stones, Prince Charles, Marcia Hines, Graham Kennedy, Alan Jones, Ita Buttrose, Stuart Diver and Maggie Tabberer to name just a few. Lindy Chamberlain called him her Alsatian at the door - the perfect description for a man who wrangled the media to protect his clients and get the best deal possible for them and for him. He looked after the ‘A’ list and helped the ‘C’ list cash in on their fifteen minutes of fame.

Harry lived large, he achieved spectacular success and experienced heart-stopping failure in both business and relationships -none more dramatic than the ten-months he spent in prison.
