An Historical Atlas of Staffordshire

While there are a number of general texts on the history of Staffordshire there is no historical atlas of the county. The atlas will become essential reading for all interested in the history of Staffordshire. Its interdisciplinary approach from historians and geographers widens the market. There are over 100 local history and related societies in Staffordshire and the area of historic Staffordshire includes two densely populated conurbations that will figure significantly in the atlas data. The contributors are all scholars of international standing with a detailed knowledge of the county. Contributors to this atlas have made novel use of a range of hitherto under-explored source materials.
