Written specifically as an introduction to North and Hillard’s Latin Prose Composition, this book presents the student with numerous exercises in Latin using a simple vocabulary and elementary forms of sentence construction. It includes both English-Latin and Latin-English exercises, both carefully restricted to knowledge already acquired at each stage.
