This is the 4th edition of the priced guide to the Roman series, providing a representative listing of all Roman coinage produced over a 750 year period and biographical details of each emperor. An introductory chapter explains basic elements of the series such as the denominational system, the significance of reverse types and the importance of mints and mintmarks. Revised market values are given throughout and the new edition also features a revised Republican and Imperatorial section and new references to the recent volume of Roman Imperial Coinage for the period AD 337-364.
