Citizenship and Citizenship Education in a Changing World

Paramount political, economic, technological and cultural changes have taken place all over the globe in recent years, changes which have transformed the meanings of citizenship and citizenship education. This volume represents a unique and pioneering effort to analyse the implications of these changes for both citizenship and citizenship education. It includes fourteen original works by prominent scholars who describe and analyse developments pertaining to citizenship and citizenship education in a variety of countries.
