The Welsh Dresser/Y Ddresel Gymreig: and Associated Cupboards/a Chypyrddau Perthynol

This booklet is intended as an introduction to the study of the Welsh dresser and its associated pieces, the court cupboard, the cwpwrdd deuddarn and the cwpwrdd tridarn. The author gives a brief history, before proceeding to a more detailed discussion of the three main types of dressers found in North, South and Mid Wales. The text is fully illustrated with examplesof the collection at the Welsh Folk Museum as well as some private ownership pieces.
