Meet Mackenzie Owens- The 12 year old Chemistry wiz from Detroit, Michigan!

Mackenzie loves Chemistry and makeup and has finally figure out a way to merge the two. This year, Mackenzie has a chance to show her school and the WORLD her skills at the annual Blodgett competition. She’s ready to give it her all this year, but she just can’t seem to get the formula right for her mood-changing lip gloss.

The pressure is on this year even more because of a special guest judge who could change her life forever, but between The Ashley Sisters harassing her to quit the competition altogether, and Oliver’s project being the talk of the school (I mean who really believes that you can move things with your mind anyway?), how will she ever stand out? Mackenzie will have to count on more than just her brainpower to outsmart the two smartest girls (and boy) in school.
