Mark Howarth has not lived a typical life, but one full of challenge and adventure. In this debut autobiographical novel, he shares his inner and outer journey with us. From traveling and backpacking in remote areas of North, Central, and South America, to living in an intentional healing community and training as a healer, he weaves in and out of relationships, fascinating experiences, and powerful locations. By consistently confronting his fears, he learns how to cultivate a proper relationship with the dark side. Guided by an inner presence he refers to as My Shaman, Mark discovers that going through fear and darkness, rather than denying or fighting it, is the only way to truly transform our personal and collective suffering.
