This Golden Carriage was manufactured by the Armbruster Company of Vienna, Austria for the Hapsburg family who ruled one of the most famous and wealthiest dynasties in Europe. Vienna surely witnessed this carriage on its streets years ago. It may also have traveled to other palaces of the Austrian Empire.

This book will help to start you on the journey the Golden Carriage began and help you understand some of its history and its two trips to America, one in 1922 and another in 2000; the movie industry brought it to America from Europe in 1922 and I brought it here again after its restoration in Belgium in 2000. The carriage’s precise history cannot be told as years have masked the grand and imperial occupants. From royalty, to movie stars, to private ownership in America, the stories will be reported matter of factly but the true tellings will have to be left to your imagination.
