The goal of this book is intentional societal evolution. As a society, we are constantly evolving socially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, whether we are aware of it or not. Recognizing that truth, the intelligent thing to do is to attempt to guide that process towards a goal. This is why it is so crucial to understand and be involved in the government, because it is the guiding force behind much of our evolution. It is even more important in a democracy, because disagreement is the foundation of democracy. If everyone agreed on everything, then monarchies would work. But they don’t work, because people don’t agree on everything, so the most important aspect of democracy is understanding how to disagree with each other properly. The Never Ending Brainstorm is about learning how to disagree and how to be disagreed with, both in the context of government and also in daily life.
