My Truth: The Birthing

For years, poetry and writing have been the norm. An adventure to escape the endearments and hardships that life had to offer. These were moments of freedom to take advantage for personal and therapeutic times of breathing in a different light. Most individuals spend a lifetime searching for their identity, sense of purpose, and something to believe in. Many leave this earth feeling unfulfilled, broken and lonely for different reasons which are sometimes caused by trauma. Growing up, Nicole experienced many struggles which caused depression, low self-esteem, loneliness and anxiety.
