Adventurer, ski bum, dare-devil and future award-winning photo-journalist Evelyn Cook set out at the age of 26 to find the world’s greatest lover and evidence that either proved or disproved the existence of God. She spent the next decade pursuing her quixotic quest, hitchhiking solo from San Francisco to NYC and across Canada to Alaska where she worked as a deckhand on commercial fishing boats before fleeing to Hawaii to escape the wrath of a lover’s angry wife.
