Just over twenty-five years ago, my 34 year old husband of four and one-half years was suddenly diagnosed with a very aggressive stage four cancer and given no hope for recovery. He was so sick that the only course of action was to try to prolong his life if only for a few weeks. Many would ask, Why save him, he is too sick? …in other words, Save the bullet .
