The Art of Worship: Drawing Near To God

Often times, when it comes to discussing the topic of worship toward our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father, we leave some minor details out. We perceive the only way we worship God is in a church setting or when we are home alone in a quiet place. Merriam-Webster defines Worship as a reverence offered to a divine being or supernatural power; also an act of expressing such reverence. Merriam-Webster also defines Reverence as an honor or respect felt or shown; profound adoring awed respect. So we see, worship to our Heavenly Father goes beyond that quiet place and time with Him one on one. Our lives should be a daily reminder to the world how much we worship our father. Worship doesn’t stop after we leave our church settings or the quiet place in our homes. The Art of Worship pushes us pass our stationary place of worship. It shows us the way we live and carry ourselves daily should be a constant reminder to someone that we worship and honor God in everything we do; and that worship is a vital part of our lives.
