Eleanor, let’s play a game of hide and seek. Those words have haunted Eleanor Welsh all her life. Neglected and abused, Eleanor had to grow up fast and fend for herself. The times she felt free was with her grandmother Claire. After a tragic turn of events, Eleanor had to leave the place she once called home. With what she could fit in her car, she left her hometown of Wesco, Wisconsin and headed east, all signs pointed to the small town of Hope Harbor, Maine. Andrew Monroe is a lobsterman in Hope Harbor and an older brother to Trevor, who was born with Down syndrome. He became the man of the house at an early age, raising his brother while his mother went in and out of hospitals. He believed he knew what love was, but nothing prepared him for the exotic gem that he would soon discover in his quaint small town. Eleanor and Andrew’s lives crash together as the storms of their past collide. Eleanor’s past, however, will try and destroy the fresh start she desperately needs to make. She will be put to the test in more ways than one, Andrew being her biggest challenge yet. Will Eleanor be able to conquer her demons of her past and have a future of true love?
