When do the events that change your life happen? Where do they occur? It seems so tenuous sometimes-missing a bus by seconds and having to wait for the next one or bumping into someone at the grocery store and noticing how familiar they seem. If I keep my focus on the present moment, I can see the reasons why things happen. Standing in line at the coat check at a spiritual seminar, for instance, is not where one would think a life changing event might occur. You’re not at one of the uplifting workshops, roundtables, or discussion groups. You’re not at a temple where a magical moment might be expected. Love always happens in the present-so stay there and you never know what you’ll find. -Jeff Terrell
