Some say a picture is worth a thousand words, but we proved it. A picture of your grandpa, 19 years old and ripped beyond measure. A picture of a dead journalist who you’ve never met, but you’ve carried his photo around for a decade. Or a picture of your father that you had to buy on a website. They all tell a story. We don’t always know what that story is. This is a collection of memories reported through strenuous fact finding, interviews and observations to unveil the truth behind the photo.
