A storm encountered is a collection of poetry and prose on heartache and healing, a raw recounting of grief over lost love, and bliss in hope gained. This body of work catalogs a story through vulnerable inner dialogue that reads like a series of unsent letters. These conversations are marked with the original dates and times when each emotion was documented, then separated into two sections ‘You’ & ‘Me’ and grouped by similar emotions, not by date, to show that healing is not linear in its occurrence, but perhaps clearer in the retelling.
