Farewell from Paradise

Samuel Pierce is an aspiring author barely scraping by in New York City with nothing to his name except stacks of rejection letters, unpaid bills, and a broken watch. But he does have one thing to look forward to: a date with the girl of his dreams, a down-on-her-luck waitress from across the street. Or at least he would have if he hadn’t been struck by a car on his way to meet her. While doctors struggle to keep him alive, a comatose Sam wakes up in a dream world filled with the fantastic creatures, strange characters and mysterious locales from his failed books. From a ruined skyscraper containing his most painful memories to a utopian city in the sea, he’ll have to traverse the sweeping land of his own imagination, as well as reconcile with the demons of his past, if he wants any chance of waking up and returning to reality.
