ONE BY ONE THE FOUR BROTHERS FELL TO STREET VIOLENCE New Orleans has the dubious honor of being named The Murder Capital of the World. Few people know the truth behind that ugly reputation so well as Erica Parker, whose tight-knit family was ripped apart by murder and revenge.

The oldest of six children, Erica Parker loved her four brothers and her sister very much. After the untimely death of their father, the Phillips family struggled to make ends meet. The four brothers had dreams of better lives, far away from the drug-infested and gang-ridden streets of New Orleans-dreams that were abruptly destroyed by unrelated incidents of gun violence.

This is the story of four young men who died too soon, leaving a mother without her sons and two sisters without any brothers. Why were all these men killed? What went wrong? Could their tragic deaths have been prevented?

Four Murdered Brothers follows the lives of Kimbro, Leonard Jr., Leniel, and Lamont through the eyes of their oldest sister, from a happy childhood to unmarked graves at Resthaven Memorial Park.
