The young author tells her story with the intent to empower others who are going through something similar. Her positive attitude and I can do anything determination make her an incredible role model. While parts of this book are difficult to read this is a subject that needs to be discussed at length so the survivors of such abuse know they are not alone and that their experience does not make them who they are.
