Lessons To Nourish the Soul from the Gospel of St. John

Nourishment for the Soul sounds like a good idea! Surely we need to nourish our souls the best we can, yet we don’t hear much about how to go about doing that. This book is composed of sermons developed from the Gospel of John given in small United Methodist churches over a decade in North Alabama. John has so much to give a follower of Christ. John is responsible for much of the vocabulary we use when we think of Jesus. The I am (the Bread of Life, the Way the Truth and the Life, the Good Shepherd, etc.) sayings of Christ come from John. Readers can enjoy much deeper encounters with Jesus and people he meets and ministers to in John’s Gospel.
