This poetry collection describes the experiences and struggles the author has with a mental illness and major depression, how nature plays a part in the healing process, and ultimately reveals where she is now spiritually. It includes three chapters based on each of these areas and aspects of her life. Photographs and artwork from kindred spirits have been included to compliment each poem to give a visual of her verse. It is the hope of the author that it may reach others that suffer with mental illnesses and depression and also offer comfort to those who deal with the passing of loved ones, and those who have found spiritual enlightenment that yields a higher understanding of the world all around us. The author makes note that poetry is an art form to be shared and this collection is an avenue for [her] to draw back the veil [she feels] comfortable behind if only for a brief moment to speak.
