Miss Moser’s Student
Sara Hammond
Anne Blake has been sent away by Lord Greville to live with the famous floral artist, Mary Moser, not as a housemaid, but rather as a student. As the elderly artist begins her lessons, she realizes how talented her new student is. She instructs Anne in more than painting techniques, hoping to mold her into a companion capable of entering the social circles of London in 1808. A reunion with Lord Greville, the reappearance of the evil Lord William, and a misunderstanding with the handsome but rude apothecary’s son convinces Anne to make something of herself and find a greater purpose to her artwork. When she hears of a journey to America, she determines her future goal.
