Despicable People

When his dealer informs him he is out of town on vacay, Derek Collins’ weekend plans of stoned couch surfing become dangerously in peril until he decides to take matters into his own hands. Which really, if we’re being honest was his first mistake. Following a simple lead spirals out into a debauched menagerie of odd characters as Derek’s search for the dankest sticky icky leads him on a wild ride through the city, into the suburbs and beyond. From a four-hundred-pound sex-starved stripper to assisting a renegade college student determined to right a few of societies wrongs. Derek finds himself bouncing from WTF moment to WTF moment in an outrageous ride that’s as funny as it is offensive and as wholesome as it is heartwarming. That last part was a lie. Derek will face off against a street Anthropologist who is tagging and releasing Hipsters back into the wild. A cult with a hidden surprise in their pants and a deranged group of Drag Queen’s intent on having their floor show , all in his search for Lady Cannabis. In a witty, savage, and uproarious homage to John Waters and counterculture movements everywhere; Despicable People will make you pee with laughter, or perhaps cry, but for sure you will cringe into your shoulder multiple times until you throw the book down and take a shower. All Derek wanted was an eighth, all he got were Despicable People.
