Though the poetic conversation is on an issue that is at times quite emotional and personal, which the poetry portrays ably, it is also a place for facts, such as Judith Stevens’ discussion of figures on lynchings and populations alongside D.D.Delaney’s History - describing slavery in the time of John C.
