The Long Road to Grace

Though born into a Christian family, Ramsey Carter Jackson grows up feeling more pain and fear than love. Sexually abused by a neighbor and often beaten by his angry, drunken father, Ramsey has little reason to believe that he deserves God’s love-or that God would even give it to him.

So, despite knowing deep in his heart the right way to live, Ramsey sets off on a path of willful debauchery, choosing to drown his pain in liquor and look for love in between the sheets.

Although he wanders far from the fold, Ramsey can never shake the feeling that he needs the grace and forgiveness of God. And as his search takes him from Texas to Costa Rica to the Dominican Republic, he begins to realize that maybe he needs to stop searching and start receiving.
