1938 has been a bad year for Orson Welles. Radio executives are fed up. Theater audiences are bored. Hollywood won’t give him the time of day. Before it begins, his career may be over. He is also the key figure in an interplanetary conflict that has raged for eons. Humanity’s doom is coming, and its first target is Orson Welles.
