Twin sisters in the lineage of the French royal family invite a reporter to their estate to hear the amazing story behind their two beautiful, mysterious, golden anchor crosses. The reporter recognizes these artifacts as likely the last two that were made by Constantine the Great and given to Pope Sylvester I in 325 A.D. She contacts Dr. Randy Peters, Director of the University of Kentucky’s Center for Appalachian Research, to authenticate them. Then, at the invitation of Kentucky’s governor, the two anchor crosses become the focus of a new annual festival held in Harlan, Kentucky. Several attempts are made to steal them, but are unsuccessful due to their unexplainable power. The fast moving novel mixes fact and fiction using mountain characters and stories full of humor. Many of the characters in the book were also in the three previous anchor cross novels, The Anchor Cross, The Pelle Anchor Cross, and The Helena Anchor Cross.
One reviewer of The Anchor Cross Twins said, Once I started reading the novel I literally could not put it down. Six hours later I was finished. It is a most fascinating read.
