Lost Spark: Masks and Monsters

Angie MacKensie knows a secret that her friends in high school don’t. Toys are magic. That stuffed animal that protected you as you slept. The bulldozer that helped you build an empire in the sandbox. The toy soldier who joined you on covert missions in the backyard. The butterfly princess who taught you how to fly. It was all real, but people forgot.

Not Angie, though. She remembered. She found her spark again, and she’s not the only one. There are others out in the world that know how to unlock the magic of their most cherished toys, including a boy named Colin, who may or may not be more than a friend.

Angie used to feel alone and empty, especially after the death of her mother, but now she feels alive and energized. And that’s a good thing because as the school year begins, she will be forced to deal with more than just the trials and tribulations that come with being a teenager. Angie must confront an all-consuming demon of shadow and darkness that is more terrifying than anything she could possibly imagine.
