Micah was still in a world of newly wed bliss when reality knocked on the door and her husband asked her leave behind the perfect future she had envisioned. The frontier held a multitude of dangers and now the rumors of unrest between the Indians to the west and the English to the east only magnified the dangers. Determined to please her husband, she ignores the churning in her spirit and set out hoping to find peace with her new future.
