The Helena Anchor Cross
Richard G Edwards
While on a mission trip, Pastor Raymond Bell discovers one of Constantine’s beautiful golden anchor crosses in a remote plantation on the island of Mahe in the archipelago of the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean. But this one is very different from the previous two that Raymond had seen. He calls his friend, Dr. Randy Peters, to investigate and solve the mystery of the Helena Anchor Cross. Dr. Peters brings the priceless artifact back to his Center for Appalachian Research at the University of Kentucky to establish it’s amazing history. It is then taken to Harlan, Kentucky for a viewing, and during this trip the amazing, mysterious, and unexplainable power of the artifact prevents it from being stolen by one of Eastern Kentucky’s most notorious criminals. When Harlan County Sheriff J. Bert Sterling becomes involved he survives three attempts on his life by a hired assassin. The author weaves fact and fiction while spinning lots of very humorous mountain stories. The book contains many of the same characters found in his previous two novels, The Anchor Cross Second Edition and The Pelle Anchor Cross.
