A pictorial tale of Joe Proulx’s career and friendship with Jerry Lewis spanning over 50 years. Joe is a San Diego native son, World War II Army Air Corp Pilot, ship-wright, yacht captain with a U.S. Coast Guard’s Master’s License, and well known on the San Diego waterfront.

The story begins on beautiful San Diego Bay. It entices the reader to join in turning the pages of Joe’s book of memories of a career that allowed him to use his talent and craft to make Jerry Lewis’ several yachts objects of admiration and great interest.

Their partnership was a heaven-sent match, to be shared and enjoyed by those who love the sea and haven it affords, and admire the talents of Jerry Lewis, the comic genius. At the time of this writing Joe was 91 and Jerry was 89. Their friendship remained alive and well, until Jerry’s passing in 2017.
