Divergent Chill: Fall of Night

Divergent Chill Shyamon fears you most of all. -Servant Lysander Fall of Night Alden, estranged from his emperor uncle and cut off from the Imperial capital by a hostile army, spends his days dallying in his workshop, visiting the fire elemental user Jerle, and assisting with the daily duties of running the beachside town of Rosewood, until the remains of a missing child are recovered. The child eater, Shank, returns and challenges Alden to stop him, whatever the cost. Alden is determined to do so, even if it means setting the world on fire. Meanwhile, the Divergent Chill stalks the Southern Wilds, intent on freeing her Ragebourne friend, Beriszl, and the men, who once called her commander, from brutal imprisonment at the hands of the Blackland Nation. More monster now than savior and caring little for the fate of the Empire, Chill finds herself caught between sating her need for revenge and saving the world of man from obliteration.
