Sixteen year old Constance Peters’ life has taken too many turns for the worse since her family moved to Hawthorn City. In the documents in the Department of Magical Phenomenon Surveyance’s Faerie Kin case file 510260, Constance is swept up into the middle of a Faerie Kin Story that changes her reality; Pippa Hawthorn’s career as a Wordsmith gets off to an ominous start; and a plot against the Hawthorn Wordsmiths by a faction of malicious Faerie Kin threatens both Pippa’s and Constance’s lives.
