Shadows in the Cave

Most of us, maybe, all of us live in some caves surrounded and brightened by fires that silhouette our shadows on the walls. We are confronted by them and confine ourselves to these caves instead of venturing out to be illuminated by the bright sunshine and new adventures. These caves can be created by our living environment, by our lives and, strangely enough, by our own minds. The caves keep us chained to our thoughts. We all want to get out of our caves, but we fear the unknown. This book of poetry reflects on our thoughts as we explore the world around us.
