Holly, an orphan, and her dog Joe have to cut their time travel short on Christmas Eve, when Mrs. Gabrielle, the orphanage mother informs them it is time for bed. Holly thinks she should get to stay up. After all, she doesn’t believe in Christmas anymore. Suddenly, in the middle of the night, Holly receives a visit from some surprise visitors that come to take her back in time because she no longer believes in Christmas.
