Mashiakh, War of the Messiah

The Herodian dynasty has begun its bloody reign in Palestine. King Herod not only murders any who opposes him but also seeks to kill off the last remaining descendants of King David to ensure there is no messiah who can challenge his rule. Backed by powerful Roman legions, there seems to be nobody who can stop Herod’s madness. Her father murdered by Herod, the orphaned granddaughter of the last Maccabee queen is taken in secret to a community of messianic mystics living in Nazareth for protection. Reaching adulthood, she will meet up with the son of a Davidic prince patriarch, whose father was also a victim of Herod’s purges. Their union will begin the final phase of the contest between Herod’s determination to prevent the coming of the Messiah, and those who know he must.
