The Price of Fame

What happens when a young girl hits the big time in Hollywood… Seventeen-year-old actress Alexandra Alex Brown auditions for and lands the coveted lead role in the film Galaxy Drifters, a blockbuster-in-the-making that is based on the bestselling book series of the same name. During auditions, Alex meets and shares an on-screen kiss with the stunningly handsome twenty-one year old actor James Prescott, who becomes her co-star. The pair fall deeply in love, and an intense relationship follows. Galaxy Drifters becomes a massive success, spawning a film franchise worth billions, and catapulting the couple to superstardom. Fame and success come at a high price, however, and the young couple find themselves at the center of obsessive media attention and public fascination, fraying their relationship and ultimately causing them to question their fairy-tale romance. They eventually end their relationship, but Alex never fully gets over the loss of James in her life. Five years later, they are offered an opportunity to work together again, bringing them face-to-face to confront their long-unresolved emotions.
