The tale of The Escape of Alexander the Great is a true story about the bond of love between a bird and his owner. It is not often that a bird will spread his wings, leave his cage, fly into the wild, and decide to come back home.

This is a heartfelt story about the feelings of loss when Alex flew off the balcony-with his owner thinking she would never see him again-to the feelings of complete happiness and elation as he attempted for two days to find his way back home.
