My Father’s Son: Katherine and Jonathan’s story

Katherine Robertson leads a very charmed life. Married for almost thirty-five years to the man of her dreams, James Robertson. Together they raised four beautiful children into loving successful adults with children of their own. They have several small businesses and are active in their community. Katherine is the assistant editor of the local newspaper. Her life is the American dream. Her recent weekly lunch visits with her eldest son, JR, is a pleasant retreat from her usual habitude. JR interrupts the main course by presenting, to Katherine, a hand-delivered letter that shakes her charmed life to its core. She is now forced to relive a past she worked hard to forget. A past that was difficult to live through the first time, even harder to live through again.
