The Rabid: Addendum

Man, the apocalypse has never looked this bleak.Jack just wants to live a normal mechanic’s life after a mutated rabies virus ended the world, but an old injury causes him immense pain. Against her better judgement, Dr. Lisa Reynolds prescribes her husband Oxycontin until he can go under the knife. But terrifying hallucinations and the voice of the best friend he murdered puts Jack to the test. He becomes addicted to the opiates, and must battle his inner demons to overcome the pain.

Then, Lisa discovers that her research into the rabies vaccine was scrubbed of her name, and it seems like someone sinister is looking for her. Patience and loyalty will be tested when mysterious Dr. Brendon Rutherford enters the picture, offering help. If it’s answers they want, the three of them will have to take matters into their own hands, and fast.
