A Desperate God: Discovering Father God Through the Answered Prayers of a Nobody

The book is divided into two distinct sections. In the first section the author gives the reader his rationale for the title A Desperate God based on an overlooked character trait of God. Section one also gives us grounds for why we need to pray, why some of our prayers don’t get answered, and challenges the Christian to examine what they really believe about prayer by looking at their actions. In section two, the author shares his own prayer life over a lifetime. This section turns into an autobiography of answered prayer. His style is honest, transparent, and he uses humor to describe his prayer life and God’s answers. The book lays out an incredible list of answered prayers that goes far beyond coincidence. In the final analysis the book is designed to encourage the reader to pray and believe God will answer prayers.
